I have no hesitation in recommending DieselMix-Gas for their Diesel/LPG system to anyone in the transport industry.

I own and operate a T604 Kenworth, Quad Dog configuration with a 14 litre series 60 engine. This truck is running for long periods at a time and it is routinely subjected to long stretches of country and city road conditions (including the extreme Australian heat in summer).

Looking for ways to cut fuel costs, I had a gas system installed by a competing company from interstate in 2007. The system that was installed never delivered the savings that were promised by the company, and it often caused my engine to knock when it was activated. That gas system was very troublesome and the whole exercise was extremely costly. After six months that gas system worked no more.

Still being enthusiastic about the benefits of diesel/LPG technology, I approached DMG in Victoria regarding their LPG system. Shane Gillard from DMG suggested that I try the DieselMix-Gas LPG system. He guaranteed 10% in fuel savings and without any of the performance problems I'd had in the past. In addition he promised the engine would not be over stressed, and that it would operate within the manufacturer's specifications.

DMG installed their system on my truck. To get the LPG system tuned in properly, Shane sent one of their I.T. techs along on a full day's run to monitor and record the trucks performance. He also received direct feedback from the driver about drivability. From that first run with the DMG system, the savings were obvious.

That truck is consistently saving about 15% on fuel costs. It's driveability is great and, and the gas system delivers a low-mid rev range torque boost. This extra power at lower RPMs saves between a half to one full gear on most hills which is very satisfying. This extra mid range power is gradually reduced as RPM's increase so as not to exceed the engine manufacturer's specifications so my warranty isn't affected. I am also impressed with the reduction of my truck's emissions due to the substitution of diesel for LPG.

I am more than happy with the ongoing after sales service, DMG's staff have always handled routine maintenance and servicing of their system without interruption to my work. Compared with the experience I had with my original Diesel/LPG system, dealing with DMG has been very rewarding. I recommend them to anyone in the transport industry looking to save money in fuel costs.
